Welcome to the set for Game of Thrones. Welcome to Kings
Landing. Welcome to Dubrovnik.
And what a place! Hello Croatia! Simply beautiful. The old
walled city flanked by the Adriatic on one side and mountains on the other you
can see why this city was one of the most advanced through the middle ages. One
the first to install democracy, first to abolish slavery and one of the first
to have a pharmacy, this city has stood the test of time and is still stunning.
Walking the walls and acting like we were shooting arrows in the Battle of
Blackwater Bay, to waking up and looking out over the marina, there wasn’t a
dull moment in Dubrovnik. Eating Bosnian food, visiting war photography
exhibitions and drinking wine with lovely Finnish and German people, this was a
brilliant launch pad for our Croatian adventures.
